The Legacy Park Foundation Mission

The Legacy Park Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting higher education amongst economicallly disadvantaged and minority students.

Each year, the Legacy Park Foundation gives out five scholarships of $1,000 each to help promising students achieve their educational goals. Since 2007, the foundation has distributed over $20,000 to its scholarship winners. Scholarship recipients have matriculated to institutions such as Harvard University, Princeton University, Rice University, Duke University, University of Chicago, Middlebury College, and the University of Texas at Austin.

In addition to providing scholarships, Legacy Park Foundation volunteers provide educational support and mentorship to aspirational students as well promote interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subject areas.
